A brief overview
Laurent Montador took over as Deputy CEO of Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) in 2014 and Deputy CEO of CCR Re, since September 2016.
A fellow of the French Institute of Actuaries, a member of the Damage & Responsibility Insurance Commission of the French Insurance Federation, he is also an expert member of the OECD High-Level Advisory Board on Financial Management of Natural Disasters, as well as of the World Forum of Cat Programs and the International Forum for Terrorism Risk (Re) Insurance Pools (IFTRIP).
He is a Board Director of GAREAT (French Pool Terrorism) and of GAREX (French Pool Marine Risks). He is also the Chairman of Caisrelux.
He previously occupied various senior positions in areas of actuarial and underwriting management on French and international markets for major insurance and reinsurance firms, both in France and abroad with companies such as BNP Paribas Cardif, AXA Re, Transatlantic Re and Flagstone Re.
He is a graduate of the Institute of Statistics and the University of Paris Dauphine.
