José Luis Campos joined CCR Re in September 2021 as Senior Underwriter for Latin America.
Before his arrival to CCR Re, José Luis held the position of Treaty Senior Underwriter (Non-Life) for Latin America for one of the leading reinsurers in the region. Between 2018 and 2021 he was based in Atlanta, USA.
“With my actuarial background and my knowledge of the region, I would like to act as the bridge between CCR Re and the clients, providing a perspective of the local business environment while keeping the focus on a technical vision.”
He has a degree in Actuarial Sciences from the University of the Americas in Puebla (Mexico) and he has worked in the insurance sector for more than 17 years. He brings experience from claims, underwriting, actuarial and reinsurance departments, both from the point of view of the cedant and the reinsurer.
