A brief overview
Senior Credit & Surety and Political Risk Underwriter, I joined CCR RE in October 2020.
My international background includes more than twenty-five years in financial and technical risk analysis of companies and capital markets. After starting my career in a Peruvian bank, I joined financial institutions in France, and in 2009 became an International Credit and Surety Underwriter, including eight years with CESCE Credit Insurance in Madrid and four years with QBE Europe as a Senior Surety Underwriter in Paris.
I have a Master's degree in International Financial Management from ESKEMA business school in 2002. I am also certified as a Financial Analyst by Moody's rating agency in London in 2008.
My mission at CCR Re is to underwrite the credit and surety treaties presented by the cedants based on the analysis of the performance of each portfolio: evaluation of financial risks, profitability, solvency, rating, pricing and macroeconomic influence of the market.
In frequent contact with insurance companies, I am the privileged interlocutor of brokers for the follow-up and development of new business in Asia, Canada, Europe, LATAM and the United Kingdom.
I represent CCR RE as an active member of the ICISA Credit and Surety Committees since January 2022.
A good client relationship is what matters to me, thanks to my analytical mind and my understanding of the macro and microeconomic factors that will determine reinsurance treaties’ performance.
