Andreas Ofner

Born and grown up in Austria, I came into reinsurance quite early at age 23 with reinsurance giant Munich Re.

After having moved from Munich to Paris, I have spent numerous years in facultative reinsurance with another major French reinsurer. That’s where my passion for the Engineering & Construction lines of business was born.

I took that passion with me in 2010 to create the Engineering underwriting unit within a major American insurance mutual here in Paris. If you have any question related to Engineering & Construction, be sure to give me a call.

In 2016, I became a bit nostalgic about my Austrian-German origins and I wanted to give to my career and my employer this extra bit of meaning and added value, so I proposed to newly created CCR Re to be their man to look after their non-life treaty business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I love it!
